Thomas Wiggins Commercial Chimney Sweeping Ltd has been doing some incredible work not only using ServiceM8 in his own businesses, but also helping out fellow sweep business to go digital. We have had some small project meetings and conversations with Thomas over the last few months, as we are both Silver ServiceM8 Partners – it is clear that our values and aims have lots of commonality.

When we learnt that there may be an opportunity to pick up from the hard work that he had done with regard to systemising his sector – we jumped at it.

We are looking forward to getting to know, and helping anyone that uses ServiceM8, or is thinking of software for making their businesses and lives simpler!

Mills Consulting Group, might sound a bit grand however there is basically 2+2 of us – all having different skill sets:-

  • Russell Mills – engineer by profession – specilaising in ServiceM8
  • Julian Mills – systems/marketing interest – with a focus on ServiceM8 combined with Infusionsoft
  • Dave Pape – web applications
  • Paul McClenaghan – graphic designer/websites

Together we work within different engineering and specialist cleaning sectors. We have chosen to partner with ServiceM8 because of the amazing, reliable, functionality AND more importantly, its genuine value that it adds to modern service businesses. ServiceM8’s aims and ambitions are in alignment with ours – the reduction of inefficiency and admin/paperwork within companies.. When the right tech is aligned with the right business, productivity gains of 30-40% are not uncommon.

Adoption of new technology and systems can seem like a daunting thing – removing paperwork and digitizing a business can sometimes seem like a step to far – we get that! If during an initial conversation, we feel that ServiceM8/Systems are not for you – we will help and advise you as best we can.

If you do wish to try ServiceM8, there are then 5 simple stages – before – you even have to spend any money:-

  1. You will receive a number of ServiceM8 ‘feature’ videos.
  2. Then you will be sent 20 short training videos (2-3 min each) that will give you a deeper understanding of how the system operates, both in an office, and on the rods.
  3. When you are happy to proceed, a 14 day free trial is set-up
  4. When you access free trial, the software will guide you through the main functions: Raising a Job, Quoting,  Invoicing, and scheduling work.
  5. It is then just a case of doing a 4o minute live demo, in your account – which will answer all of the outstanding questions that you have (and show you how to complete forms, generate certification in real time, take card payments, and enter yearly recurring jobs, etc.) – you can then choose if you wish to go ahead or not.

You will only go ahead if you see how ServiceM8 can save you time and money!
