Since graduating in 1993 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Russell has worked in a range of industrial and engineering businesses in a sales and marketing role. Moving from the engineering service sector into a more sustainability role, Russell worked in a research team at Teesside University – helping local SME’s increase their business’s resilience by futureproofing working practices and gaining a competitive by working with the environment.
Russell has also run his own retail/training business in Middlesbrough where he lives, so he has a deep empathy with small businesses who are looking to increase sales through marketing automation. It is clearer now as in any other time in history that we live in a globally competitive market place – however, the delivery of high street and local services has never been more in the public eye (Amazon Local Service, Ebay Local Advertising, Google Local,…).
Since 2014 Russell has focused on promoting Infusionsoft and is specialising in helping small businesses to get started with Infusionsoft marketing automation, he is interested in assisting engineering and technical businesses. ServiceM8 is a natural progression, as it allows him to work with smaller businesses that want to improve their service offering – at the same time as increasing their productivity and efficiency.
Russell is a keen networker and believes in the power of genuine business to business referrals as a steady strategy for growth.
